BEATMAC, nos trae el Beatbox del futuro a nuestro Sound System. Todo un talento que convierte sus cuerdas vocales en un instrumento. Ha conseguido la difícil tarea de atraer la atención del público y los medios a una disciplina como es el beatboxing, ofreciendo un live divertido y original, donde no faltan los ritmos y sonidos de vanguardia. Dubstep, d&b, hip-hop, funk y una enorme dosis de creatividad dirigida a la pista. DAS NEVEZ: Ya estuvo con nosotros en la última Subvibes celebrada en marzo. Decir que a su talento como productor de dubstep curtido en la cuna del dubstep, o séase, Bristol, con los principales impulsores que ahora son sus protagonistas, hay que sumar una gran dosis de habilidad a los platos tal y como demostró en su última cita. Ha compartido cabina nada menos que con Tes la Rock, Goht Trad y Alien Pimp entre otros y esta vez tenemos la suerte de volver a ser sacudidos por sus graves en Bassment Club. LA RESEÑASUBSISTENZ LP 01 – Current Value – “Back To The Machine” El Berlinés Tim Elliot aka Current Value lleva tiempo forzando los límites del drum and bass con su sonido industrial y metálico, dejando siempre alto el listón en lo que a programación y producción se refiere. En este, su primer álbum de influencias technoides, vemos como el maestro de la oscuridad toma un giro de 180 grados de vuelta hacia las profundas raices de la música basada en máquinas, y aplicando su teoría y talento al desarrollo del nuevo sonido techno. La historia del techno siempre ha estado vinculada al ruido de las maquinas, y este L.P. da vida a una máquina en particular, el Nord Modular G2. Current Value, armado de su amplio conocimiento en el campo del diseño de sonidos, ha intentado domar a esta bestialidad de sintetizador, y el resultado es un álbum cargado de retorcidas atmósferas y de ese aplastante sonido que solo el sabe conseguir. El 98% de “Back To The Machine” está basado en el Modular G2, inyectando nuevas frecuencias y renovando los viejos teoremas del techno... anunciando el sonido del siglo XXII. ALPHACUT RECORDS  http://www.alphacutrecords.com/ La reseña de esta semana va dedicada a un sello alemán con un modus operandi muy particular: Alphacut records fue creado en el año 2002 por LXC en Leipzig, al norte de Alemania. Concebido como un sello de DNB con una filosofía estrictamente basada en el punkrock y los whitelabels, sus lanzamientos siguen unas marcadas pautas: Singles de 12" presentando a un artista diferente en cada cara, con dos temas de drum and bass experimental más o menos compatible con la pista de baile, pensados y prensados para DJ´s y coleccionistas, con detalles como "locked grooves", ediciones pintadas y numeradas a mano, vinilos de colores... Otro proyecto paralelo es Alphacute, sub-sello desde el cual editan series de 7". Al igual que en Alphacut cada release presenta a un artista diferente en cada cara: por un lado un artista del sello, y por el otro un artista de algún sello afiliado, fomentando las colaboraciones inéditas, y generando una saludable escena underground abierta a todo tipo de sonidos electrónicos.
